David is the head mechanic and he only works at this store on Thursdays.  My lucky day as he was ablt to quickly change the crank shart, install new pedals and kickstand, both of which were annoying.

The pedals I was using had no return motion, that is, my foot was not attached in any way to the pedal.  So I gave up about 1/3 of the potential power.  With the 'clip less' I'll be a bit more powerful, and I got the kind with a reverse side that is normal so I can change off.

My kickstand has been too short from the start and the bike will easily tip so I've had always to put the bike down hill from the stand.  This new one is longer and solves that problem.
