Shallottte North CarolinaHome of Jumpin' Java and Island Hoppers Bicycle Repair
This is magnificent town with a very busy central business district. There a fair number of large department and food stores and good variety of local shops. This flower is on one of the bushes decorating the Mall down the street from Jumpin' Java Not far from Shallotte, about 6 miles is the entry road for Ocean Isle. Daniel Beasley suggested I take a look at the town from the top of the bridge that carries traffic over the Inland Water Way. It lived up to his promises. Here's a few shots.
Moving Left to right, as the jet skier is, is the jet skier on the inland water way. He was flying and I took this picture from the top of the bridge when he was quite a distance away. Next is the southern view of Ocean Isle, wit a high concentration of homes, I'm sure all beautiful and very expensive. The third picture includes a view of the ocean. |
